After a degree in chemical process engineering, Steffen Smischek worked almost 10 years in international plant engineering projects before he took over the responsibility of a business development manager for Siemens in the chemical industry. In his 25-year career in the industry, he has worked predominantly with international clients in specialty chemicals and - more recently - battery materials.
