The E-Waste World, Battery Recycling, Metal Recycling, ITAD & Circular Electronics Conference & Expos 2025 will return to Messe Frankfurt on 11–12 June, delivering Europe’s most comprehensive free-to-attend trade show for the fast-evolving recycling and circular electronics ecosystem. With over 300+ exhibitors, the expo spans four core industry sectors and offers unparalleled access to next-generation solutions for the recovery, reuse, and responsible management of electronic materials and critical raw resources.

This year’s expo floor plan has doubled in size, filling Hall 12 with breakthrough technologies, equipment demonstrations, and hands-on product showcases. More than 3,500+ attendees from over 100 countries are expected to walk the floor, connecting with international solution providers, equipment manufacturers, logistics innovators, recyclers, OEMs, asset managers, compliance professionals, and circular economy strategists.

The event serves as a practical sourcing and discovery hub, helping organisations identify the tools and partners needed to comply with tightening environmental regulations, meet ESG targets, improve yields, and expand reuse programmes. A growing emphasis is placed on digitisation, automation, and closed-loop materials management, all of which are reflected across this year’s expanded exhibitor base.

Visitors will also have exclusive access to hundreds of live demonstrations including two standout technologies. Max-AI® will present its AQC-Flex robotic sorting system in action – showcasing real-time metal recovery precision powered by AI. With a 5 kg lift capacity and adaptable recognition capabilities, the Flex unit is designed to operate across diverse material streams with minimal supervision. Meanwhile, Thermo Fisher Scientific will demonstrate its Niton™ Handheld XRF Analyzers, enabling on-the-spot elemental analysis of lithium-ion batteries, black mass, and CRM-rich fractions. These systems are increasingly relied upon by recyclers to identify valuable materials quickly, reduce testing time, and improve process efficiency on-site.

New for 2025, the Start-Up Zone (Stands S01–S20) will highlight young companies solving urgent challenges across dismantling, sorting, and secondary raw materials processing, such as Endo Robotics, 9-Tech, Erase4Good and Re-Think. Moreover, the Supporter Zone will feature the latest projects and initiatives from leading industry bodies and non-profits including EuRIC and Critical Minerals Association. These zones will spotlight both emerging technologies and new circularity models to encourage collaboration and ecosystem-wide progress.

In addition to the B2B Expo, attendees will also benefit from targeted networking features such as ITAD Power Hour, a new interactive gathering space designed to support professionals working in secure asset disposition, electronics reuse, and sustainable lifecycle management. This dedicated hour will focus on data security, reverse logistics, resale market strategies, and reuse frameworks, offering a platform for cross-sector connections, peer learning, and informal discussions with refreshments provided.

For those looking to go deeper, a separately ticketed conference programme will run in parallel to the expo, with over 180+ technical experts speaking across four dedicated tracks. Conference topics will span operational best practices, regulatory developments, technology deployment, and strategic foresight relevant to all four industries. Attendees interested in attending the conference can still take advantage of the Early Bird Special Offer, available until Friday 16 May from €825 before increasing to the standard ticket price, from €965.

Peter Sarno, Event Director at Trans-World Events, commented: “This year’s expanded edition reflects the transformation underway across all four sectors—e-waste, battery recycling, metal and CRM recovery, and circular electronics. From emerging legislation and extended producer responsibility to supply chain resilience and AI-driven automation, our agenda and exhibitor base directly address the strategic, commercial, and technical pressures facing the industry today. We’re proud to provide a platform for the global community to connect, share insight, and develop forward-thinking solutions at scale.”

Free Expo Passes are available now and provide access to all four events, exhibitor booths, live demos, networking features, and feature zones. Register for your Free Expo Pass or upgrade to a conference ticket by visiting: https://ewaste-expo.com/e-waste-battery-metal-itad-co-located-events/

We look forward to welcoming the international electronics, battery and metal recycling; ITAD and circular electronics communities to Messe Frankfurt in June for two days of technical excellence, solution sourcing, and cross-sector collaboration.
